Whinnybank News

Sue thanks Sarah Walder for her donation towards our vet bills. This came in very handy last weekend as one of Sue’s permanent boarders, Midnight (AKA Foxy), was hit by a car. He had a fractured jaw & canine tooth & a bruised eye so it turned out to be an expensive weekend for Sue! He has had his jaw wired up & will need to have it wired for 6-8 weeks – luckily he can still eat his favourite food! Now holiday season is over the adult cats up at the Sanctuary are starting to be homed again. Hendry, who has been at Whinnybank since Christmas had 2 people fighting over him – we are so pleased that he will be going to a lovely new home this weekend. Linda will be changing the window display in our Newburgh shop on Wed 14th – as the nights are now drawing in the window will feature lamps & candles to “Light up your Autumn.”

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
