Whinnybank News

You may remember that Sue rescued a cat & her kittens in Auchtermuchty last summer – it took 7 weeks to find 5 kittens but the mum had left one in the fish & chip shop garden. Being the most timid of them all, Sue kept him upstairs with another orphan kitten – she called him Baby Bob & believed he would never be homed because of his timid nature. A kitten called Danny came in 2 weeks before Xmas & he & Baby Bob became best friends. A lovely home in Crieff came up this month so Sue decided they could be homed together. Sue had a very special connection with Baby Bob so she misses him very much! She will visit them in their new home on Saturday to see how they have settled. Thanks this week go to: Sophie & Ian from St Andrews for their kind donation of 4 large bags of cat biscuits – the ferals love them & the 4 bags will keep them going for 2 weeks; John, Jasmine & Simon for their generous Xmas donation; & the Samaritans for their donation of books.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
