Whinnybank News

Thanks go to Sarah Wallder for her donation of £50 towards the vet bill for the emergency treatment of a kitten over Christmas. The kitten, now called Sirius, responded well to treatment & went to his lovely new forever home this week. The vet bill was over £200 – any donations can be handed in to Wilson’s vets in Cupar, please say it is for the Whinnybank account. Word is getting round that Sue will be out of action for a few weeks once she has had her operation – she was over the moon to home 8 cats in the past week, including 4 teenage ferals from the skips in Perth. They have gone to people Sue knew in Burntisland – thanks go to Chris for helping her to deliver them. They will have a wonderful life there – their owners have bought them a new shed & run, & when Sue called the next day to say she was worried they would get wet & cold in this awful weather she was informed that a new heater was on its way to keep them warm! It looks like they are going to be spoiled which is great as they would have had a terrible life at the skips, hunting through rubbish for food.
