Whinnybank News

Sue rescued 3 tortie female cats from a bedsit in Dunfermline this week. They are all aged 1-2 years & were terrified after being in an abusive home. One poor soul had hardly any fur & another had a leg injury that Sue is convinced was due to her being kicked They are called Molly, Misha & Precious & will be given lots of TLC so that they learn to trust humans again. They will be in need of quiet homes once they are ready to be re- homed. Thanks go to Dawn & Martin for driving Sue to an area that she did not know. With the help of Chris, long term supporter of Whinnybank, Sue trapped 7 semi-feral cats in Blair Atholl – they arrived in the rain but left in 2 inches of snow!! Sue’s gut feeling is that they have all been neutered by CPL in the past as there were no young kittens about. She has heard that the man who was feeding them has been moved to a home. Sue will return to investigate further. Our Christmas Raffle is being drawn on Sat 19 December at our Newburgh shop – tickets are still available. Sue wishes to thank all the Whinnybank volunteers & supporters for their dedication & help over the past year
