Whinnybank News

Sue had a shock on the morning of Thursday 11th – her van had been stolen out of the yard! Wednesday had been a hot day so she had left the windows half open as cats Rosie & Felix were asleep on the front seats. Thankfully the cats were not stolen!! Hazel had delivered lots of bric-a-brac on Wednesday evening & it had been loaded into the van ready to go to the shops so all that is gone as well. Please keep a look out for Sue’s white Astra van – registration VEO 4BHA. Everyone has been so kind in raising money to get another vehicle, especially Sunny Harbour Rescue who  have started an online fundraiser, so hopefully Sue will soon have another 2nd hand van soon as there are a few rescues waiting to be done. Thanks go to everyone who has handed in newspapers, egg boxes, carrier bags & small jam jars recently – please keep them coming – Sue has had to buy carrier bags for the shops for the first time in her life!!
