Whinnybank News

We hope Easter treated you well & that you had a better time than Sue! Violet, who had been threatened with being destroyed by a gamekeeper last year & who Sue was very fond of, went missing – she eventually found her dead & thinks she had been hit by a car. Another cat “Pond Cat” due to his love of the pond, was also killed on the road. Sadly, a fox got the duck who had been sitting on 14 eggs. Edie, Sue’s 25 year old cat, had a very bad fit but seems to have come through it ok & Sue hopes she will have the summer with her. Just when she thought the run of bad luck was over, Lisa (who helped Sue catch a feral who had been producing 8 kittens a year in Pitlochry) broke her ankle – we hope it heals soon! Sue has another feral job lined up in Alloa. Thanks go to Age Concern for their donation of bric-a-brac; and to Aaron Birrell & Kitty Carr for bric-a-brac from their Sri Lankan School fundraiser.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
