Whinnybank News

We are pleased to report that we have homed a few cats recently – Humphrey (AKA Jasper) finally got a home after 5 month at the Sanctuary; 4 feral kittens went to a farm at Springfield; and Linda Nielson got homes for her 5 semi-feral kittens. There are no more kittens on the horizon. Sadly Sue has had to have 3 elderly Whinnybank cats put to sleep over the past 3 weeks – they were all expected but it doesn’t make it any easier. It has come to light, more so now than in the past, that people collect bri-a-brac for us but not all of it makes its way to our shops – if anyone has bric-a-brac to donate can they please contact Sue directly. Thanks go to Newburgh Co-op for their kind donation of books and bric-a-brac. We are in need of red and/or gold material for our Christmas window displays if anyone has some to spare.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.ukhappily-homed
