Whinnybank News

Kitten fosterers Linda Nielson & Mairi Brady both have their hands full just now!! Linda has 5 semi-feral kittens who were found in a garden – they aren’t typically semi-feral as they were friendly & purring from the start, despite having had no previous human contact! It hasn’t been an easy ride though as they weren’t used to cat food & had upset tummies so Linda has had to do rather a lot of cleaning up!! They are now toilet trained, eating well and ready for new homes. Mairi’s 6 kittens were more feral when they came in and she has worked hard to tame them ready to be homed. Special thanks go to the Jamieson family from Glenfarg for their generous donation after Sue re-homed their father’s cats; and to Lisa for helping out in an emergency with a former Whinnybank cat – sadly the owner died & the family wanted the cat away asap – a quick call to Lisa and she and her dad picked the cat up. Lisa is caring for the poor soul until we can get her another home. Thanks also go to Newburgh Bowling Club for their donation of bric-a-brac & games.
