Whnnybank News

Kitten season is now at its peak – we currently have 15 kittens with our fosterers. It is a quiet time for homing as people are away on holiday so if you have been thinking about adopting a kitten or cat visit our web site at http://www.whinnybank.org.uk to see who is available. Sue bought 70 new point of lay hens this week so egg production is in full swing – the eggs will be small to begin with, hence they will be a bit cheaper. Mary & Fiona, 2 of our ‘Muchty shop volunteers who have been with us a number of years, are retiring due to ill health – we wish them well and thank them for all their support. Thanks go to Brian of Ceres for his donation of a bottle of whisky as a future raffle prize; and to Amanda Sloan for sending Linda material for making catnip mice – Linda hopes to start making them in August – she is still in need of floral material with small patterns if you have any to spare.
If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at http://www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & http://www.whinnybank.org.uk
