Whinnybank News

Helen McRitchie, who works in our Newburgh shop on a Friday morning, initially found it very overwhelming working in the shop & had to work alongside someone else. We are pleased to say that she has come on leaps & bounds and her confidence has improved to the point that she is now a valued volunteer who enjoys the hustle & bustle of the shop & is happy to take on the responsibilities on her own. The tomato plants donated by Marjorie of Kingskettle sold like hot cakes!! We still have pepper plants & are looking forward to Marjorie returning with bedding plants in May. If you keep hens you may be interested to know that we now stock poultry grit/oyster shell by the kilo.
If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at http://www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & http://www.whinnybank.org.uk
