Whinnybank News

Our thoughts are with Jane, who fosters elderly cats for us, she had only had Tommy for 3 months when he had to be put to sleep due to kidney failure. It can be very rewarding work with elderly cats but can also be very heart-wrenching too. Tommy was a lovely silver tabby stray, who Sue thought could have been in his late 20s, who was found sleeping in Sue’s friend’s flower tub in Methil & was never claimed. Isabel has been busy decorating our Auchtermuchty shop windows with Easter bunnies for sale – it looks great! Thanks to all the ‘Muchty helpers who keep our ‘Muchty shop going. Many thanks to the people who have kindly donated wool, and to Abdie Church for their donation of books. Our ducks & geese are laying well now so we do have eggs for sale in our shops – you can’t beat a goose egg for making an omelette!!
If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at http://www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & http://www.whinnybank.org.uk
