WHINNYBANK CAT SANCTUARY NEWS

Black & white cat Taget came in to Whinnybank 6 months ago – as he was microchipped we managed to trace his owners but although he had been missing for 18 months they didn’t want him back as they now had children. He also had a diarrhoea problem which, with the help of Clare the vet, we managed to cure. He has now gone to a lovely home in Livingstone with an elderly couple – he has settled in very well and is getting love & attention all day long! A young ginger male called Scott also went to a new home this week, in Balmullo. Sue picked up 3 cats from Strathmiglo – so that’s 2 out & 3 in – the story of Sue’s life!! Thanks go to the Institute in Newburgh for their donation of books & bric-a-brac last Friday. Winners of our Christmas Raffle prizes: Cat quilt – Yvonne of Auchtermuchty; Whisky – Mrs Bailey; Magnolia gift set – Ann from the Appleyard; Glasses – Ingram (kindly donated back to us).

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
