Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary News

Our last kitten of 2013, Violet (the kitten the gamekeeper threatened to shoot), happily went to her new home with Vinnie – another feral kitten who was homed 2 months previously. Vinnie had been cared for by kitten fosterer Julie and her family – sadly they are moving away and will be greatly missed. We are therefore in need of more kitten fosterers – please give Sue a call if you are interested in helping. The hens and ducks at Whinnybank are starting to lay eggs again, which are on sale in our shops. Sue is busy making jam & jelly including strawberry jam, elderberry jelly and apple & rosehip jelly – yum yum! Wishing everyone a good 2014 – we are hoping that this year doesn’t bring in so many strays. Once again many thanks to everyone who donated food, money and raffle prizes on the lead up to Cnristmas.

If you can offer a home to a cat, help at fundraising events, in our shops or at the sanctuary, please call Sue on 01337 840414, or see us online at www.catchat.org/adoption/fife.html & www.whinnybank.org.uk
