Dave Rutherford & Xinyi Jiang raised about £300 with their sponsored walk from Tayport to Newburgh at the end of November – congratulations & many thanks! The money raised will go towards our vet bills. Our shops are doing well selling Christmas items, we still have more cards, wrapping paper, decorations, wreaths & trees. Sue thanks all the kind people who have donated cat food, monies & prizes for our Xmas Raffle. It’s not too late to buy Raffle tickets – the top 2 prizes are the beautiful handmade quilt & a bottle of Glenmorangie whisky – it is being drawn on 24 Dec at the vets in Newburgh at 11am (Clare the vet is providing mince pies – yum, yum!) With the lovely mild weather last week one of Sue’s ducks found herself a cosy hiding place – by the time Sue found her she had about 20 eggs under her!! Hopefully they will all hatch at about the same time as there is a lack of broody hens to take over keeping any un-hatched eggs warm! Merry Christmas to all our supporters, volunteers and shop customers  🙂
