Last Friday Sue had a call from a Perthshire gamekeeper who had caught a cat & a kitten (& 2 dead kittens) & who gave Sue an hour to collect them else he would shoot them. Sue collected the poor wee souls – they were in a very poor state & literally starving, we suspect that they had been dumped. We are pleased to report that mother & kitten are now doing well. A stray black & white un-neutered tom came into the Sanctuary from Cupar this week – could he be your cat? Maisie, the tabby girl who needed a new home due to a premature baby in the household has landed on her feet & found a new home already J Thanks go to Sylvia who helps in our Newburgh shop – due to her health she is taking some time off until the weather gets warmer. Thanks also go to Sarah for the funds she has raised by selling knitted catnip rodents. Finally, we would like to offer our sympathies to the family of Maureen Bene who passed away recently. She was a lovely lady who was a regular customer of our Newburgh shop – we will miss her cheerful visits.
