This week Sue called her sister in Hampshire, where most of her family live. The snowdrops Sue sent down are all in flower and the daffodils are all in bloom, which made her feel quite homesick. Our sympathies are with Jane from St Andrews who fostered a cat called Squeak for 7 years, after being abandoned in Newburgh. She sadly had to have her put to sleep aged about 20 years. The hens are beginning to lay again with the nice weather, so we have eggs in our shops at last. We are even getting the occasional duck egg. We are looking for donations of items for our Easter Hamper. Please keep the cat food coming as we have lots of mouths to feed. Thanks this week go to Doris and Liz for their donations of tombola items; to Mrs Hunter and Elizabeth of Strathmiglo for the cat food and a tin of pennies; the Parish Church for their donation of bric-a-brac; and to Newburgh School for their donation of books.
