Glynda O’Hara won our Christmas raffle of the large Penguin, and said she would like to donate it to the local CHAS hospice at Kinross. We have received a lovely thank you letter from them. Sadly it was Jock Ross’s funeral this week, our thoughts are with Moira who has been a volunteer with Whinnybank for a number of years. Jock and Moira were the kind people who adopted Tiger who used to live in the cat shop in Muchty. Jock helped us move 210 cats from Logie to Whinnybank 13 years ago, he continued help us over the years and will be sadly missed. Many thanks to the lady who tried to get to Whinnybank in the snow with 3 bags of wood. Sue managed to collect it from the shop eventually once the 2 feet of snow at the Sanctuary had reduced! Thanks also go to Lynsey Ewan for helping to keep our website updated, and Newburgh Heritage Group for their donation of bric-brac after their coffee morning last Saturday.
