Good news. After 7 weeks, Sue has finally got her red van back. Much welding had been required, so pennies will have to be saved for a ‘new’ van next year! The build up of large items to be collected will be tackled by Sue as soon as possible. The surviving feral kittens are now doing okay, and we have our fingers crossed that there will be no more illness, as they have been through enough already. Our thoughts are with Jan, Claire and Lilian for the sad loss of their own treasured cats this week. A young, black and white female cat from Perth managed to make her way to Newburgh somehow. Luckily, she turned up at one of Sue’s neighbours, and was found to be micro-chipped. Unfortunately, the owner had not updated her microchip records, so a lot of detective work was required before she could be reunited with her owner. Thanks to Linda for all her hard work. and many phone calls. Thanks this week also go to Marjorie, Heather & Maureen for their donations of lots of cat food, to Sarah Wallder for her continuing donations of monies raised online, and to Gwen, Kim, Margaret, Fred and David for their huge donations of lots of lovely bric-a-brac.
