Sue’s feral colony work is continuing and Sue and Lisa went up to Pitlochry again on Monday where they picked up three 3-4month old feral kittens. They are too old to be tamed so will be neutered and vaccinated and kept at Whinnybank until a suitable smallholding or farm can be found for them to live on.
Thanks this week go to Lisa and her mum, Margaret, for looking after so many kittens; and to Lindsay for her faithful homemade jam and jelly donations – her cranberry and apple jelly has proved very popular!
Sue did the car boot sale at Perth last weekend but it was very quiet and she only raised enough to cover the stall fee and diesel – she will try it again once Crail etc have finished for the year. We have a book sale in the Murraygate in Dundee on Friday and are running a thrift shop in Leven again all next week so hopefully we will be able to raise some much needed funds. We won’t have time to do our news next week so we’ll be back in a fortnight.
