Last Friday’s book sale in Dundee was looking doubtful because of the weather but we packed up the van anyway – it did rain and it seemed that people felt sorry for us as they kept putting money in the tin. Along with sale of eggs & jam & a few books we raised £135. The car boot sale in
Tayport on Sunday started well – by 10am we had taken £100 but then the rain arrived and put an end to the day and Monday was spent drying everything
out!! We will be having a book sale in the Murraygate in Dundee again this Friday (today) – hopefully the weather will be kind to us.
Thanks this week go to Isabel and John Cater who gave Sue some cat food in return for tadpoles for their pond; Marjorie of Kingskettle who dropped off
a load of tomato plants which are selling extremely well; and Doreen Jarvis of the Davaar House Hotel in Dunfermline for her kind donation of £10.
